Continued from pg. 8 This prompted the company to put in place and then recently conclude phase I of its exploration program. This consisted of locating, power washing, and channel sampling spodumene-bearing pegmatite exposed in 16 trenches on the property. The company notes the historic lithium resource on the property resulted from the focused diamond drilling of the target pegmatite dyke exposed by these trenches. All samples from phase I were analyzed at Activation Laboratories (Ancaster, Ontario, Canada), an ISO Certified Laboratory. Analyses were by ICP-MS subsequent to a sodium peroxide fusion. Analytical results illustrate the presence of significant concentrations of lithium exposed at surface. 'The results from the sample analyses further justify additional investment and exploration in this property,' said Tim DeHerrera, president of Force Energy Corp. 'We plan to pursue initial steps to begin phase II, which may include permitting and exploring joint venture opportunities or other sources of funding for the operation. We feel Force Energy is at a pivotal moment and are excited to move forward with phase II of the exploration program.' Lithium is used in ceramics and glass, batteries, lubricating greases, air treatment, continuous casting and primary aluminum production. Of course the most promising purpose of lithium is in the production of batteries, and the potential development of lithium batteries to power hybrid electric cars.
