Dear Editor,
I would like to recognize a Flin Flon citizen for her hard work.
In her spare time, Nadine Smart can often be seen cleaning up garbage around the community. Often filling multiple large bags, she removes broken glass, discarded junk and general garbage from parks and community areas.
It would not be an exaggeration to estimate she’s collected more than 100 bags
of garbage over the years.
I know that she has never asked for recognition; however, I’m not alone in believing she deserves it. Her efforts should be seen as an example to the community of how hard work can make a community more enjoyable and safe for friends and family.
