Many times people hear about the negative and impersonal conditions related to health care. So often there is an emphasis on "Negative News" and not "Positive Press". Health care and nursing services on the third floor of the Flin Flon General Hospital are just the absolute opposite. Every single staff member provides dedicated care with loving kindness to all of the patients and also to their families. Our mother spent the last two months of her life experiencing the comfort and concern provided by the third floor staff, and we are so very appreciative of their efforts. When you see any of these people, greet them with a thankful smile, for no one understands the pressure and conditions they are subjected to, except those who have undergone a crisis. The third floor nurses and staff are a fantastic credit to our hospital and our community. They constantly go above and beyond the call of duty in providing for the needs of their patients and the patients' families and demonstrate only positive aspects about health care services.
