Dear Editor,
We recently made the drive to your community on the occasion of a funeral and left town impressed by what we saw while there.
The level of service in the restaurants where we dined was on par with what we see at home here. The waitresses got some deserved tips after our meals.
The community of Flin Flon itself has an interesting look and feel to it thanks to all those steep hills, rock ridges and the forest and lakes and rivers surrounding it all.
The shops along the Main Street were quaint and everyone we saw working at those places was very helpful to us as incoming visitors.
In a day and age when people are fast to complain, we want to compliment Flin Flon for making a difficult trip much more bearable.
