Mr. Editor: I received a phone call Tuesday evening informing me of a box of four little kittens having been left at the gate of the Creighton dump. A gentleman walking his dog found the kittens but was unable to pick them up at that time because of the dog. Two of the kittens left the box and tried to follow the man, hoping to get help, for warmth and some food. The man returned with his vehicle and rescued two of the kittens that stayed in the box but was unable to find the other two. They spent the night cold, hungry and scared. As of writing this letter, I do not know if anyone has come across the poor little kittens. To the heartless person who left the kittens, I hope you were warm in your bed, not hungry, but I really hope your conscience will cause you a great deal of anguish. Sincerely, Phyllis Sorensen
