Dear Editor: Over the past weeks, I have read with much interest many of the letters and articles written with regards to the Creighton School issue. Even though I do not have a vote on the matter, we own property and pay school tax to the Creighton School system. Therefore, the decisions that are made are important to me. I was amazed at the statement made by the chairman that they were elected and this is what they wanted to do. I always thought that people were elected to carry out the wishes of the electorate, not to push through their own agenda. If this situation has been discussed for as many years as one newspaper article stated, then I see no harm in backing off a little and making sure this is the best for all concerned. I realize it is impossible to please everyone, but at least we could please the majority. We only have to look at history to find examples of decisions that were made by elected people, who no doubt felt they were doing the right thing but in the end the idea benefited few, and was very costly to many. Thanks for the space. Yours truly, Don Gates
