Editor: Our new P.M. Paul Martin is now very busy making excuses for the Liberal government's fleecing of millions of Canada's tax dollars. Those dollars are not retrievable and you can bet your bottom dollar they will not be returned to the government's coffers by the jokers who stole them. Another safe bet is there will be no jail terms handed out to those crooks at fault. They might get a little slap on the wrist and forget about it. Our elected politicians who see the bright lights of the big town soon forget who put them there and feel they are free to go on their greedy ways. We the people will be taxed again and no doubt there will be more stolen bucks wasted. Mulroney quit before his term as Prime Minister was up and handed the reins to the blonde Kim Campbell who really did the Conservative government in. Then came Chretien's regime who has ruined the Liberal reign. Perhaps the voters should try the Conservatives again or maybe the NDP. Who can the people trust? Ð Steve Person
