Dear Editor I would like to pass on some information for cancer patients who go to Saskatoon. A friend of mine recently told me about the CancerLodge on College Drive. It is for cancer patients who stay in Saskatoon between appointments or treatments. The facility is right across from the University Hospital and is very clean, quiet and friendly. The cost is only $40 per night and that includes all your meals and snacks, which are provided in the cafeteria. Companions are also able to stay for a fee for meals and accommodation. Parking can be obtained for $5 per night. They have two lounges for visiting and watching TV, and a room with a "fast internet" computer at no cost. This service has been available for 22 years. I had cancer 12 years ago and was never told about it. I hope I have helped someone else with this information and you all will pass it on to others. If you wish to stay at the lodge, their phone number is 306-242-4852. Thank you. - Wanda Ginnell
