Editor: I am writing this letter with a bit of disappointment regarding our 2004 Canada Day celebrations. The communication between the Festival Committee and groups in Flin Flon leaves me wondering why after all these years there was no Legion Color Party for the parade and no flag raising. The importance of Dominion Day is to celebrate Canada's birthday and freedom that our men fought for and some gave their lives for. I have been proud to stand in honour of them and see the flag raised. Suddenly there was no flag to raise on Canada Day. The committee and the Legion need to talk early in the year so that arrangements can be made. The Legion share the pipe band with The Pas and 2004 was our year. So come on people, let's hear your voices on this. ? Just sign me, Disappointed
