Having heard many complaints over the last few years about the care at the Flin Flon General Hospital, I am writing to compliment the staff on the care provided to me this past summer.
While vacationing from Saskatoon, on two occasions, in July and August, I visited the emergency room with severe abdominal pain and was subsequently admitted to the fifth floor ward.
I found the ER staff to be very friendly, compassionate and competent and was looked after very efficiently. I was particularly pleased that they listened effectively to me when describing my problem. The staff on the fifth floor was equally compassionate, competent and efficient.
I was also impressed by the hospital’s level of cleanliness, which was definitely better than you see in Saskatoon’s hospitals.
All this made my two stays as pleasant and comfortable as a hospital stay can be.
