Trevor Miller So much of what our society at large values is so deeply superficial, it would be difficult to decide what would best represent us broadly. Some cat videos from YouTube? Some tweets and status updates about our lunches? I think what would present us in our best light would be things like some local art or perhaps some photographs of people around town taking part in things like the Trout Festival or other community events. Something that provides a view of the creativity and sense of community we have here, rather than just current trends and fashions, something that says who we actually are. Ken Mansell As a geocacher, for my own time capsule I would like to make a geocache full of Flin Flon pins, geocoins and other small souvenirs. I will place them in a waterproof container marked as a cache and registered on Geocaching com. I will drop this into the Sturgeon Weir River. The finder will have my name, address, etc. They will be asked to sign it and throw it back and contact me. Theoretically it will go to The Pas and eventually Hudson's Bay. I do not have the container yet, if you have one or some Flin Flon pins get in touch. This may take a few years but it is will be interesting if it works. Denny Hyndman Hard to represent 2013 as we're only hitting the halfway mark now, but most definitely a program from the FFAC's Chicago would have to be in the capsule, that show was great! I would also stick in a roll of copper pennies, I think they were obsolete early in the year, and an article or photo highlighting the under 14's Boys and Girls for Soccer because Flin Flon is undefeated this season. Mark Rowe's song lyrics as he placed first in the American Songwriters magazine contest, information on Idle No More and have it wrapped in a big ol' Pinterest box.
