Denny Hyndman Our council has been elected to determine what our priorities are and if they can be afforded long-term. They have stated that much of their budget will need to be spent below-ground, so people should scale back expectations of perfect lawn maintenance this year. Seriously though, each taxpayer should be evaluating what services we cannot live without instead of what we want to keep. We have already been told that we need to shut things down or fix them, we cannot afford to fix, so I expect this may mean a loss of service in future.
