Trevor Miller Yes, we need to scale back some expectations about which services the city can provide, and how much support local groups receive. We don't have 11,000 residents anymore, we can't expect a tax base half that size to keep on doing everything it used to, especially with the number of large infrastructure projects have been kicked down the road until now. Prioritizing essential services and reserving funding for them will mean cutting funds to other services that many have gotten used to over the years, as much it inconveniences or irritates us when we don't get what we were expecting.
