Dear Editor,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the people of the Flin Flon Constituency for their prayers and kind wishes while I underwent cancer surgery earlier in September.
I wanted to let everyone know that I am slowly recovering and feeling better every day. I continue to fight the good fight. Cancer can be beaten and will be beaten!
I received excellent care while at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. I gained a growing appreciation for the doctors and especially the nurses who looked after me.
I am thankful that we also have a great hospital here in Flin Flon. Take the time to thank a doctor or nurse today for the care you are receiving.
I arrived home on Saturday, Sept. 27 and was able to take in some parts of Culture Days. I want to thank Crystal Kolt and her army of volunteers who put on such a fantastic weekend of events. I am so proud to be MLA for a community that was able to
host 86 events for
Culture Days!
I am slowly getting back to work on your behalf. Please contact me or my staff, Colleen Ford and Alexandra Béasse, if we can be of assistance. My office is located at 33 Church Street in the old medical clinic and is open Monday to Friday. Feel free to drop by or call 201-687-3367.
Sincerely,
Clarence Pettersen, MLA
