Do you remember me? I lived in Flin Flon over 50 years ago. I worked underground at Cuprus Mine and also worked in town at the Zinc Plant. I curled and was in a few bonspiels. My sister Ruth who was married to Don McKenzie also lived there, as did my other sister, Joan Jarvis, who worked at the mine. I am organizing a bus tour of seniors and will be in Flin Flon at the Victoria Inn on the evening of May 30. The next day on the 31st, we are doing a tour of the town and vicinity, then will be back at the Victoria Inn for the evening. It would be nice to see any old friends that remember me. We leave on June 1 for Prince Albert, The following are some names that I remember: the Flock family that had the bakery, Lila Mooney who had an older sister, Marg Ryan, Rod and Ruth McIsaac, Muriel Wright, a great curler who had a daughter Lois. There are many others, but at my age, the old memory is a little short. Hope to hear from you. Ray Jarvis Box 2354 Princeton, BC V0X 1W0 (Phone 250-295-7044) (e-mail - [email protected])
