Editor: I have read twice now in The Reminder that the Chamber of Commerce is going to erect a flag for each province, the Canadian flag and a U.S. flag. I can't be the only one who finds it hard to believe that we would include the U.S. flag with our own. When you cross the U.S. border, you have seen your last Canadian flag until you return to Canada. I have nothing against the Americans, but I don't think we should be flying their flag in our country as if we were a part of them. We are always on the defensive, but there is a time to stand proud and proudly display our own heritage without worrying about being nice to the Americans. I just don't get it. - Wanda Ginnell
