Continued from pg. 8 In relation to the position he has taken up at the Snow Lake Health Centre and the work in general, Klippenstein says that the x-ray part of his job interests him a great deal. "Mostly the concept of being able to see what is going on inside the body and draw a connection to what is presenting on the outside of the body," he explained, further noting that his Grandma influenced him in becoming an x-ray tech. Spare time As for spare time, Klippenstein says that up to this point there hasn't been a whole lot of it and that he is just re-learning what the term means. He is looking forward to the summer and golfing, and perhaps some camping in the area. He acknowledged that there are some interesting looking places along the highway to Flin Flon. The tech is also a guitar player and hopes to rekindle the interest and maybe form a 'rag tag' rock band. "I'm going to check out what this area has to offer in its many scenic walking paths and lakes," he added. "I'm thinking if someone is willing to show me how to be a better fisherman I would like to do some of that too. My impatience has been a frustrating quality, but I am already finding that life up here is a lot more relaxed and is already rubbing off on me in a good way." In conclusion, Klippenstein noted that thus far Snow Lake is shaping up to be a great place to start a career. "As for staying forever, like everyone seems to be trying to sell me on ... only time will tell," he said. My Take on Snow Lake runs Fridays.8/4/11
