UPDATE: Woman reported missing travelling to Pelican Narrows found

UPDATE: Schindler was found safe and sound Dec. 11. RCMP are searching for a 52-year-old woman who went missing on her way to Pelican Narrows. Debbie Schindler was last seen around 7 a.m. Dec. 10 leaving a home in Pierceland, Sask.

RCMP are searching for a 52-year-old woman who went missing on her way to Pelican Narrows.

Debbie Schindler was last seen around 7 a.m. Dec. 10 leaving a home in Pierceland, Sask., later calling a family member that morning from Shellbrook, Sask. and telling them she was on her way to Pelican Narrows. Pelican Narrows RCMP have confirmed Schindler had not reached her destination in Pelican Narrows and are concerned for her wellbeing.

Patrols by RCMP detachments in Smeaton, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Shellbrook, Waskesiu Lake, La Ronge and Pelican Narrows have not turned up Schindler's whereabouts.

Schindler is described as 5-foot-1 and around 180 pounds with green eyes and brown/blonde hair. She was driving a red 2007 Ford Edge with British Columbia licence plate DR642P.
