Two injured in early morning uptown shooting

Two men are in hospital after a shooting on First Avenue early Friday morning.

Around 3 a.m. Jan. 17, Flin Flon RCMP responded to a report of a shooting at a home on First Avenue. Not long after, police were notified that two men, both from Flin Flon, reported to Flin Flon General Hospital with gunshot wounds.

The two men, ages 24 and 52, remain in hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Neither have been identified by RCMP. An investigation, including assistance from the provincial Major Crime Unit, is ongoing. Police have blocked off the home.

No word on potential suspects or arrests has been released.
