Saskatchewan's total number of positive COVID-19 cases has cleared 200.

Thirteen new people were announced by provincial health officials as positive cases, bringing Saskatchewan's total to 206 cases. All 206 cases have been confirmed. Four people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, with two in intensive care.

Six more people have recovered from the disease, making it 36 people within Saskatchewan who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and recovered.

No new cases have been reported in the "far north" region, which includes Creighton, Pelican Narrows, Denare Beach, Sandy Bay, Deschambault Lake and other communities near Flin Flon. Three people within the region have tested positive for the disease, with two of the three having recovered. No one has died in the far north due to COVID-19.

More than 11,000 tests have been conducted throughout Saskatchewan and processed at the Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory in Regina.

Events and groups have been limited to a maximum of 10 people, with the province advising people to stay at home and avoid meeting friends or family face to face.

To help fight COVID-19, the province has announced revamps to call-in and question services for anyone seeking more information about the disease. HealthLine 811, the provincial health hotline, has been expanded in capacity, now able to take on 900 callers at the same time. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, the line was only able to handle 32 simultaneous callers. The toll-free line for the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) has also been expanded, now being offered 24/7.

Any Saskatchewan residents seeking more information about COVID-19 can call the SPSA line toll-free at 1-855-559-5502.

An online self-assessment tool released by the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has been used more than 350,000 times throughout March.
