Flin Flon RCMP are seeking help from the public after a man was shot on Hapnot Street on May 18.

Police received multiple calls after residents heard a gunshot go off around 1:15 a.m. on May 18. After responding, RCMP found an adult male who had suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. The man was treated at hospital and released.

An RCMP invesigation is ongoing into the incident. No suspects have been named in relation to the shooting.

“At this point, we’re still trying to look into everything. That’s why we’re hoping to get some more information from the public,” said Flin Flon RCMP Sgt. Mark Svaren, adding that any home surveillance video, witness accounts or additional information would assist police.

“Anything seen, heard or captured on video, we’ll take anything anybody has.”
