The City of Flin Flon is advising the public about rock blasting and thin ice.
The city announced Thursday a portion of Highway 10 will be closed during certain times due to blasting at the former armoury property.
Blasting will take place between Monday, March 27 and Friday, April 7. During blast times, Highway 10 between Green Street and Wright Avenue will be closed.
The blasting is required ahead of construction of the new North of 53 Consumers Co-op store.
Elsewhere, the city advises that due to the flooding of Flin Flon Creek, the ice has become unsafe. Pedestrians and vehicular traffic (such as snow machines) are cautioned to stay off the ice surface.
