Pair arrested after Flin Flon Petro-Canada armed robbery

Two people have been arrested in connection to an armed robbery at the Flin Flon Petro-Canada station last week.

Just after 10 p.m. March 6, police were alerted to a robbery at the gas station where two individuals entered the establishment armed with a knife. According to an RCMP news release, the two threatened a staff member with the knife, grabbing several items from the store before taking off into the night.

After the suspects left the business, police received what the news release described as "information from the public" and were able to identify, locate and arrest the suspects. 

Sky Colomb, 23, and 18-year-old Rocky Bighetty, both from Flin Flon, were remanded into custody and face charges including robbery, assault, possess weapon for dangerous purpose and failing to comply with conditions.

A court date and location in relation to the case is unknown.
