The Snow Lake Volunteer Fire Department hosted the Annual Redman Bonspiel in the Gordon M. Rupp Curling Rink over the weekend of March 6 to 8.
The bonspiel equaled others the department has hosted in past years and all who attended from in town and outlying communities enjoyed a great time.
When it came time to clean the ice, the winning teams were:
First Event: Thompson team of Brad Sirman, Kole Murkin and Jason Kuras.
Second Event: Tag team ABC Fire and Safety Winnipeg and Creighton of Glenn Pietsch and Rob Laroque of Creighton, and Jeff Morris and Tarrent Rempel of ABC.
Third Event: Team Two from Flin Flon, made up of Jamie Fleuty, Darren Romo, Kelly Willetts and Ron Mendro.
The winner of the putting challenge, landing his ball closest to the button, was Kelly Willetts of Flin Flon.
