A 28-year-old man has died after drowning in Father’s Lake near Pelican Narrows July 31.
Pelican Narrows RCMP were called to the lake, located around five kilometers north of the community, after a swimmer went missing.
An RCMP news release said a boat was immediately sent to where the man was last spotted, near the beach area of the lake. The boat quickly located the man. RCMP and first responders performed CPR, but were unable to revive the man.
RCMP said the death is not being considered suspicious.
