A Sandy Bay man is facing a charge of second degree murder after a 33-year-old man was found dead Feb. 25.

Healthcare providers in Sandy Bay were called to a home within the community around 10 p.m. Feb. 25 and found a man unresponsive and severely injured inside. Despite the efforts of first responders, the man died of his injuries. The victim was identified by RCMP as 33-year-old Darnell Bear.
