A summary of calls to police from April 4-10, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
April 4
Report of an intoxicated patient at the hospital who had been medically cleared but was too intoxicated to care for themselves and had no place to go. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Report of an unwanted person at a local hotel refusing to leave. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm. Police spoke to the person who stated they made the comments out of anger and did not actually mean them.
Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared but was too intoxicated to care for themselves and had no place to go. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Report of possible COVID-19 breach.
Report of a collision involving an ATV and a single occupant. Police attended and an ambulance attended. The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Alcohol was not a factor.
Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm. Police located the person, who was arrested and taken to the hospital for an assessment.
April 5
Report of a person apparently summoning demons. Police reluctantly attended, but found the conjurer had gone to a family member’s house and they agreed to look after them. Police feel as though the person may have been under the influence.
Report of a missing person, however the person was in police custody.
911 hang up call from a residence. Believed to be kids playing with the phone.
Report of an intoxicated person staggering onto the road. Police attended but did not locate the person.
Report of a person being loud in their residence in the afternoon.
Report of a person smashing windows at a residence, which then escalated into an assault with a weapon. Police attended and took one person into custody. They were arrested, lodged, remanded and later released on bail.
April 6
Report of a domestic disturbance. Police attended but found there was no violence, just people arguing.
Report of two intoxicated people having been medically cleared at the hospital but were too intoxicated to care for themselves and had no place to go. Both were arrested and lodged.
Report of a person who had intentionally hurt themselves leaving the hospital before being seen. Police located the person who was arrested and brought back to the hospital, where they were found to be too intoxicated to be properly assessed. The person was then arrested and lodged in cells.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the Hundred Stairs. Police attended and found the person as described, who was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police came into contact with two intoxicated people who were pushing one another. Both were arrested and lodged.
Report of ATVs driving around a schoolyard.
Report of intoxicated people in a yard refusing to leave. Police attended and the people had left.
While on patrol, police came into contact with a very intoxicated person loitering in front of a building. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an assault at a residence. Police attended and found two victims, one of whom had to be transported to hospital for non-serious injuries. The suspect was named and arrested, lodged and remanded in custody.
Report of intoxicated people loitering at the hospital. Police attended and they were gone.
Report of people fighting and arguing in front of a residence. Police attended and learned it was a confrontation about a theft. Police arrested the thief, who was found in possession of the stolen item. The item was returned and the person was lodged. The victim did not want charges laid.
Report of a youth swearing at a homeowner and threatening them. The homeowner wanted the youth warned, which was done.
Report of a party at a residence.
April 7
Report of family members fighting with one another. Police attended and arrested and lodged the cause of the problem.
Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared at the hospital but had no place to go. Police attended and were able to work with the person to find them a place.
Report of an unwanted person ringing a door bell at a residence, then leaving.
Report of a grandparent yelling at kids in a residence. Police attended and the grandparent agreed to leave.
Police requested to check on the wellbeing of a person. Police attended and they were fine.
Report of intoxicated people harassing customers in front of a store. Police attended but the group was gone.
Report of people who were supposed to be self-isolating being spotted on Main Street. Police knew all the person’s periods of self-isolation had expired.
While on patrol, police came into contact with three intoxicated people who had been asking people for money. All three were arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person urinating on a building. Police located the person after the fact. The person was given a ride home.
Report of a young child laying on the side of the road. Police located the child, who advised they were playing with their friends who had since left. The friends later returned.
Report of a person smashing a vehicle window. Matter under investigation.
Report of a person throwing rocks at a residence. The person was located a short distance later and arrested.
Report of an assault in a residence. Police attended but the suspect had already departed. The victim did not want charges laid.
April 8
Report of an intoxicated person at a residence refusing to leave a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Report of unknown people banging on a door and leaving. Police made patrols but did not locate the suspects.
While on patrol, police came into contact with two people fighting. One was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police were waved down by an intoxicated person who requested to go to cells and sleep. Their wish was fulfilled.
Report of neighbors yelling in a residence. Police attended and learned the source of the yells had left.
While on patrol, police came into contact with a very intoxicated person who was too intoxicated to care for themselves. They were arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person trying to fight people in a residence. Police attended but the cause of the problem was gone.
April 9
Report of an intoxicated family member fighting people in a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the problem causer.
Report of people fighting on Main Street. Police attended and found the two intoxicated combatants, along with a bonus third. All three were arrested and lodged.
Report of a person assaulting another person and threatening them. Police attended and the suspect was taken into custody without issue. The person was arrested, lodged and later released.
Report of intoxicated siblings fighting and one was smashing things in a residence. The alleged problem-causer left while police were on route.
Report of a sibling leaving a threatening note to another. Unrelated to the previous call.
Report of an intoxicated person sleeping on a sidewalk. Police attended and provided the person a ride to a sober friend.
Report of an intoxicated person yelling and banging on a fruit stand (going bananas). Police located the person who was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police came into contact with several intoxicated people yelling and fighting with one another. All three were arrested and lodged.
April 10
Report of a person known to have several outstanding warrants hiding in a residence. Police attended but the person was not there.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the road. Police attended and found the person along with their friend who was equally as intoxicated. Both were arrested and lodged.
Report of youths playing unsupervised on the street. Police attended and told the kids to be careful.
Report of a dispute between a couple where one was letting the other into the residence. The caller later called back stating police were no longer needed.
While on patrol, police came into contact with an intoxicated couple who were arguing. Police took one of the people into custody and sent the other on their way.
Report of harassing messages being received online.
Report of a missing youth. The youth returned home shortly after the call was received.
