A summary of police calls from Nov. 8-14, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP. Nov. 8 Report of a truck broken down in a highway lane. Police attended and confirmed same. A tow truck attended and removed the truck.

Nov. 8

Report of a truck broken down in a highway lane. Police attended and confirmed same. A tow truck attended and removed the truck.

Report of a missing patient from the Flin Flon hospital. Police located the patient and returned them to hospital care.

Report of a theft from the liquor store. Matter under investigation.

Report of a person walking into a residence uninvited looking for a person who no longer lives there. The subject of complaint then tried to fight a person in the residence. Police attended but the subject of complaint was gone and the caller did not wish to provide a statement.

Report of two intoxicated people stumbling down the middle of the highway, caller concerned due to poor visibility. Police attended and found the two intoxicated people, who were both arrested and lodged.

Nov. 9

Report of a missing patient from the Flin Flon hospital. Police located the patient and returned them back to the hospital.

Report of a stolen vehicle. Matter under investigation.

Report of an intoxicated person getting violent in a residence. The subject of complaint then left. Police received a call of an intoxicated person trying to fight security at the hospital. Police attended and found the person from the first call was the person in the hospital. The person was arrested and charged.

Report of a disturbance from a residence. Police attended and learned people were breaking ice and working with a loud motor. They were advised to keep the noise down.

Nov. 10

Report of suspicious people whistling outside of a residence.

Police requested to assist EMS with a call of a person in medical distress caring for young children. Police attended and were quickly cleared.

Multiple reports of thefts from the liquor store. Matter under investigation.

Report of an intoxicated youth in a residence causing issues. Police attended and arrested the youth for breaching court-ordered conditions. The youth was lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.

Report of an assault on Main Street. Police attended and found the suspect still on scene. The person was arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.

Report of an intoxicated person trying to punch moving vehicles. The person was located, arrested and lodged.

Report of a stabbing. Police attended and found the victim still on scene suffering non-life threatening injuries. The suspect, who is known to the victim, was later located, arrested and lodged. The suspect was released to appear in court at a later date.

Report of an intoxicated person at the Flin Flon hospital too intoxicated to care for themselves but medically cleared. Police attended and arrested and transported the person to cells.

Nov. 11

Unknown caller called from an unknown location stating a person who was not named took their friend’s cell phone but then gave it back, then said police were no longer needed.

Report of a person having been assaulted by another person. Police attended and the victim advised they wanted their assailant charged, however when it came time to give a statement they changed their mind.

Report of a person banging on a door of a residence and threatening people within. The homeowner did not want the person charged.

Police requested to conduct a well-being check on a person. They were located and were A-OK.

Yet another theft from the liquor store. Matter under investigation.

Report of a vehicle being vandalized. Matter under investigation.

Nov. 12

911 hang-up call to a residence. Police attended and learned a person had walked in uninvited but then left.

Report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance in the ER waiting room. Police attended and found the person now sleeping, probably tired from all the disturbance causing. The person was awoken, arrested and lodged.

While on patrol, an intoxicated person too intoxicated to care for themselves was located in a back alley. They were arrested and lodged for their own safety.

Police requested to conduct a well-being check on a person. They were checked on and were fine.

Nov. 13

Report of a missing child who exited their home unbeknownst to their parent. The child was quickly located and returned home.

Report of a domestic assault. The subject of complaint was located, arrested and released to appear in court at a later date.

Police requested to check on the wellbeing of a person who had not been home in some time. The person was located and everything was fine.

Report of a three-vehicle collision. No injuries and the collision was attributed to poor driving contributions.

Report of an unwanted person in a residence who had locked the lawful homeowner out of the property. Police gained entry and arrested the person inside who was on conditions to not be at the residence. Checks also showed the person had two outstanding warrants for their arrest. The person was arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.

Report of an intoxicated person in a restaurant refusing to leave. The person was located a short distance away. They were arrested and when doing so, their intoxicated friend started calling police racial slurs. Both were arrested and lodged. While transporting to cells, one of the prisoners began rapping.

Report of a disturbance in front of a residence. Multiple fighting with each other. Police attended and everyone had dispersed.

Nov. 14

Report of a person banging on doors and walls of a residence yelling to call the police. Police attended and spoke to the homeowner who advised that an unknown person was banging on their door and is now gone. Patrols made and no one was located the area.

Report of an unwanted person at a residence. They then left on foot. Patrols made and the person was not located.

Multiple reports of a person shoplifting cosmetics from a store. Matter under investigation.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a snowbank in an alleyway. Police attended and located the person, who was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person in the hospital lobby. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of a vehicle driving erratically and eventually getting stuck in the snow. Police attended and issued the driver $785 worth of fines to the driver.

Report of a disturbance being heard at a residence. Police attended and learned everything was now calm.

Report of a window being broken and a door kicked at a residence.
