A summary of police calls from Jan. 31-Feb. 6, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Jan. 31
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence needing to be removed. Police attended and arrested and lodged one person.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence refusing to leave and scaring children within the residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Feb. 1
Report of a person threatening another person. Matter is under investigation.
Report of a person seemingly caught up in a scam. Reported to police, so they could advise the person of same.
Report of an ongoing theft. Matter under investigation.
Feb. 2
Report of intoxicated people in a residence refusing to leave.
Report of a couple fighting in a residence. Police attended and the couple had already gone their separate ways.
Report of a loud disturbance in a residence. Police attended and found a person having been assaulted by another. The aggressor was taken into custody, lodged and later release to appear in court at a later date.
Report of a person known to have a warrant being seen. Police made patrols but did not locate the wanted person.
Report of a child being disciplined improperly by a caretaker. Matter under investigation.
Report of intoxicated people needing to be removed from a residence. Ongoing issue with the homeowner allowing intoxicated people in their residence. Police attended and wrote the homeowner a common offence notice.
Report of an intoxicated person in a common area of a hostel causing issues.
Report of intoxicated people no longer welcome in a residence.
Report of a disturbance coming from within a residence. Police attended and learned people were in a verbal spat. They agreed to separate for the evening.
Report of a disturbance at a residence. Police attended and found a person running away upon sight of police. The person was located hiding in nearby bushes. Checks were ran, which showed the person was on conditions to not be at the residence they were running from. The person was arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.
Jan. 3
Report of an intoxicated person apparently hitchhiking to another community. The subject of complaint was already nestled comfortably in cells.
Report of a person refusing to leave a building when asked by staff. When they were asked by police, they were more receptive to the idea.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out at the bottom of a stairwell. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of shoplifting from the liquor store. Matter under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated person saying they crashed their vehicle and were then going to walk onto the lake. The vehicle was found unharmed and a person was looking after the intoxicated person.
While investigating another matter, police located a person in a residence breaching curfew conditions. The person was arrested and lodged.
Jan. 4
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule.
Report of a person believed to be on warrant status outside of a business. The person was not wanted by police.
Report of an intoxicated family member yelling in a residence and scaring children within.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Jan. 5
Report of a possible impaired driver. Police made patrols but could not locate the vehicle in question.
Police requested to keep an eye on someone’s home due to a bad feeling they had.
Jan. 6
Report of a person being chased and then another person making a gesture to another person that they had a weapon. The suspect was located, arrested and later released to appear in court at a later date.
Report of a person in a building refusing to leave. Police attended and the person agreed to leave.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a snowbank. Police attended and found three intoxicated people with no place to go. They were all arrested and lodged.
Report of a couple in a heated argument over a soda pop. One of the people was given a ride to a friend’s residence.
