A summary of calls to police from Jan. 3-16, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Jan. 3
Report of intoxicated people arguing in a residence. Police attended and arrested one of the arguers to prevent escalation.
Report of a break and enter to a residence. Matter under investigation.
Report of an assault/theft. Matter under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated parent/child yelling at their child/parent. The person was arrested and lodged to prevent escalation.
Jan. 4
Report of a fare skipping out on their cab bill.
Report of intoxicated people smoking in a doorway at a business.
Report of a group of people smoking an unknown substance in public.
Report of a disturbance in a residence. Police attended and all was calm. Upon leaving, one of the occupants came outside intoxicated and the homeowner did not want them back in. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of unwanted intoxicated people in a residence. Police attended and found both subjects of complaint now outside. As they had nowhere else to go, they were both arrested and lodged.
Jan. 5
Report of an unlocked vehicle having been rummaged through.
Report of too many people in a residence. The property owner came outside but the other occupants inside locked him out. The property rep was given a ride to someone else’s house.
Report of two intoxicated people outside of a business. Police attended and found both as described. They were both arrested and lodged.
Report of a big fight outside of a residence, however all participants left while the caller was on the phone.
Jan. 6
Report of a person having been assaulted. Police located the assaulter who was arrested and lodged. The victim later decided they did not want charges laid in the matter.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence freaking out but then calming down. Police attended and the property rep advised police were no longer needed.
Report of footprints in the snow seemingly looking into vehicles.
Report of people needing to be removed from a residence. Police attended and the person agreed to leave. Second call received the people came back. Police attended and they left again.
Report of an intoxicated youth assaulting their parent and parent’s partner. Police attended and arrested the youth. During the arrest, the youth resisted arrest and threatened police. The youth was lodged in cells and later released to appear in court at a later date.
Jan. 7
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence trashing it. Police attended and arrested and lodged the trasher.
While on patrol, an intoxicated person got into the backseat of a police car requesting police to arrest and lodge them. Their wish was granted.
Report of a person needing to be removed from a residence. Police attended and the person removed themselves.
Report of a violent patient in the hospital. Police attended and the patient calmed down.
Report of a couple getting into a heated argument in a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the intoxicated instigator.
Report of an intoxicated person at the hospital having been medically cleared but is too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Jan. 8
Report of a group of intoxicated people on the street being loud. Police attended but did not locate the group.
Police requested to conduct a wellbeing check on a person. All was well.
Report of an intoxicated spouse at a residence, not doing anything in particular.
Report of an assault. Matter under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated parent in a residence scaring children and others inside. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Report of a possible impaired driver. Police did not locate the suspect vehicle.
Report of a snowmobile cover being stolen. Matter under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated person armed with a sword asking a person “whom” they are. Police located the person and the sword. The person was arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.
Jan. 9
Report of noisy neighbours. Police attended and heard no noise.
Report of an intoxicated person banging on a door and yelling. Police attended and found the person still in the yard. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of a teenager missing their home imposed curfew. The teen later returned home.
Jan .10
Report of a roommate dispute which escalated into threats being uttered. Police attended and re-homed one of the roomies.
Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm. Police located the person who was taken to hospital and advised it was all a misunderstanding.
Jan. 11
Police and fire were called to a report of a Porta-Potty on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished. At this time the fire is not believed to be suspicious - just a crappy coincidence.
Report of a court order being breached. Matter under investigation.
Report of an assault at a residence. Police attended and the victims did not want anything done to the suspects.
While on patrol, a vehicle was pulled over due to the driver not having a licence. During the course of the stop, arrests were made under the Liquor Act and one of the vehicle occupants was found to be in possession of a very large amount of cash. The person was arrested and police are investigating the person for possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Report of a person swearing at another person over the phone in regards to a service performed the customer deemed unsatisfactory.
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated passed out in an ATM vestibule. The person was arrested and lodged.
Jan. 12
Report of creditors calling a person looking for someone who owes money. The cell phone number belonged to a different person before being reassigned.
Report of a dispute with Canada Post over mailbox regulations.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule. The person was located, arrested and lodged.
Report of an impaired driver. The vehicle was located and the driver was arrested. The driver provided samples well over the legal limit. The driver was released to appear in court at a later date.
Report of an intoxicated person yelling and throwing things in a residence. On call back, the complainant said they called by mistake and everything was fine.
Ambulance called requesting police assist with a patient who was becoming combative. Police attended and the patient accompanied EMS to hospital without incident.
Report of intoxicated people in a residence causing problems. Police called the complainant back and they noted nothing was going on there.
Jan. 13
Report of a person hearing yelling within a residence. Police attended and no noise could be heard when police arrived.
Report of an erratic driver.
Report of an intoxicated patient leaving the hospital before being seen by hospital staff. The patient later returned, then left again with a sober person.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence being rude. Police attended and drove the person to a sober friend’s residence.
Report of a fight in front of a business. Police attended and found one of the participants, who advised they were punched for no reason but did not want any police follow-up.
Report of a child attending school with noticeable injuries. Follow-up revealed the caregiver had taped gloves to the child’s hand to stop them from picking their nose. A person was arrested and later released on a potential future court date while police continue to investigate.
Report of a group of suspicious people in an alleyway. Police attended and the group was gone.
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person with an open bottle of alcohol on their person. The person had no sober person to look after them, therefore were arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of a group of people hanging around a business and smoking in the lobby.
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence yelling and swearing at people within. Police attended and found the person still acting the same. They were arrested and lodged.
Jan. 15
Report of an intoxicated person refusing to leave a residence when asked.
Report of gunshots and a person being tortured. Police learned none of this happened.
Multiple reports of unwanted people in a residence. Police attended each time and the people were gone. The homeowners were told to stop letting people in..
Report of a theft from the liquor store. Matter under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated person banging on the door of a residence and not leaving when being asked. Police attended and found the person still on scene, who was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person having been locked out of a residence now trying to break back in. Police attended and found the person still on scene. They were arrested and it was later learned they had an outstanding warrant for their arrest. They were lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.
Report of intoxicated people hanging out in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and found one lone survivor. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person running around yelling about harming himself. The person was located, arrested and lodged to be spoken to when sober about their possible self-harm ideations..
