August 16

Third party complaint of a person knocking on a residence trying to get someone to come outside and fight. Police attended but the challengers were gone.

Police requested to assist ambulance at a call of a person having been injured. Police attended and assisted.

Report of an unlocked vehicle having been gone through overnight.

Report of a passed out intoxicated person in front of a bank. Police attended and located the person as described. They were arrested and lodged.

Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm. Police attended and spoke to the person, who advised that he said the comment in jest.

Report of a person having left the hospital without being medically cleared. The patient returned a short time later on their own.

Report of a child custody dispute.

Report of a seemingly abandoned vehicle.

Report of an intoxicated person banging on the door of a residence.

August 17

Report of an intoxicated person fighting people within a residence. The homeowner did not want them there anymore, therefore he was given a ride elsewhere.

While on patrol, police located a person passed out against the side of a building. The person was too intoxicated to care for themselves, therefore they were arrested and lodged.

Report of a person who was about to be a victim of an online fraud. Police attended and provided some pointers to the would-be victim. One of the officers spoke to the “Microsoft” employee, who was less than professional.

Report of a missing patient from the hospital. Police located the patient a short time later.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a back alley. Police attended and located the person as described. They were arrested and lodged.

Report of two intoxicated people at the Whitney Forum. Both were located, arrested and lodged.

August 18

Police requested to assist EMS in gaining entry to a residence where a person was in medical distress. Police attended and assisted.

Report of two intoxicated people cuddling in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and found the couple, who were on conditions to have no contact with one another. Both were arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a future date.

Report of a group of intoxicated people in front of a business bothering patrons. Police conducted a foot patrol and the group dispersed, save for one person who was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated patient having been medically cleared but was too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Report of a possible assault. Police attended and took one person into custody. The alleged victim declined to provide a statement in the matter and denied being assaulted. The alleged suspect was very intoxicated, therefore lodged to prevent a continuation.

Report of a fight in a back alley. Police attended and took one of the scrappers into custody, who was then lodged.

Report of an intoxicated patient having been medically cleared but was too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Report of an intoxicated parent looking after their young child and the caller was concerned. A family member attended and took the child into their care.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence no longer welcome. Police attended, but the person got the hint before police arrived. A call was received a short time later that the subject of complaint was now at a different residence and wasn’t wanted there either. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person who was more than welcome in cells.

August 19

Report of an intoxicated person refusing to leave a residence. Police attended but the person left prior to police arrival.

Report of a person yelling outside a residence. Police attended and the person went inside.

Report of people knocking on a door of a residence and the homeowner did not want them there. Police attended and shooed them away.

Report of a patient leaving the hospital but then returning.

Report of a fight on Main Street over a person wearing a shirt that a person took offense to.

Report of an intoxicated person in the hospital who did not require any medical attention and used a garbage can as a toilet. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Report of intoxicated people on Main Street. Police attended and arrested and lodged one person.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the street. Police attended and located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person discharged from the hospital but too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Report of a disturbance in a residence where lots of people were yelling. Police attended and learned the cause of the problem had left prior to police arrival..

Report of a dispute between youths. Police attended and mediated an apology between the youths.

Report of a suspicious person who kept lying on the ground when people would look at them.

Report of a group of youths trying to break into an abandoned residence. Police attended and chased them away.

August 20

Report of a group of people sitting in front of a bank bothering customers. Police attended and told the group to move along.

Report of a collision on the highway. Police attended and all occupants were ok, nothing criminal.

Report of a person being assaulted. Matter under investigation.

Report of a person at a residence despite being on conditions to not be there. Police attended and located the person who was still on scene. They were arrested and later released to appear in court at a later date.

August 21

Report of a disturbance from within a residence. Lots of yelling heard. Police attended and learned it was a family dispute and the loud people left.

Report of a break and enter to two residences. Police attended and spoke to witnesses, who all gave entirely different stories

Report of a group of people drinking behind a business. The group left while the caller was on the phone.

Report of a group of people walking up the Hundred Stairs yelling and swearing. Believed to be intoxicated. Patrols made but no one was found in the area.

Report of a group of people passing around a bottle of something. Police attended but could not find the bottle passers

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the lobby of a business. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of intoxicated people in someone’s yard refusing to leave. Police attended but they left already.

Report of people yelling at each other on the street. Police attended and located one person who was breaching conditions of a court order. The person was arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a future date.

Report of a hit and run. The driver of the suspect vehicle later called and admitted it was them.

August 22

Report of an intoxicated person attempting to get into a residence. Police attended and found the person still on the porch. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared but is too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged.

While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person sleeping on the street. Police arrested and lodged the person.

Police requested to conduct a wellbeing check on a person. Police attended and the person was fine.

Report of a person threatening staff at a local restaurant. Matter is under investigation.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule. The person was arrested and lodged.
