A summary of calls to police from Dec. 27-Jan. 2, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Dec. 27
Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared from the hospital but hanging around bothering people. Police attended and learned the person was already gone.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence screaming and yelling and needing to be removed. Police attended and found the person still on scene and breaching conditions of their probation. The person was arrested, lodged and released to appear in court at a later date.
Dec. 28
Report of a possible fire at a garage. Police and fire attended and found no fire.
Report of an intoxicated person about to leave a residence with a stick and the caller was concerned the stick may be used as a weapon. Police attended and found the subject of complaint was not intoxicated, nor did they have a stick.
Report of a child welfare complaint. Police attended and learned the complaint was unfounded. Police later were called back as a youth in the residence took some pills and was “going crazy”. The youth was brought to hospital, then lodged in cells.
Dec. 29
Report of intoxicated people in a residence causing issues. Police attended and the problem causers were gone.
Report of an intoxicated youth needing to be removed from a residence. Police attended and found the youth was not intoxicated, but then the subject of complaint assaulted the caller right in front of the police. The youth was arrested and assaulted a police officer during the arrest. The youth was lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and found the person as described. They were arrested and lodged.
Report of a break and enter and mischief to a vehicle. Matter under investigation.
Report of a group of people fighting in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and spoke to a person who was advised they were attacked by two others. The victim stated they did not know their assailants.
Report of a break and enter and theft from a residence.
Report of an intoxicated person in a restaurant not wearing a mask. Police located the person nearby now in a gas station causing a disturbance. The person was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person laying on the street. The person was too intoxicated to care for themselves, therefore were arrested and lodged.
Report of a child welfare complaint. Police attended and found the call was unfounded.
While on patrol, police came into contact with an impaired driver. The person was arrested and provided breath samples four times the legal limit. The person was later released to appear in court at a later date.
Report of a person smashing windows at a residence the previous night.
Dec. 30
Report of an intoxicated person falling down on the street. Police located the person was too intoxicated to care for themselves, therefore they were arrested and lodged
Report of theft from mail. Matter under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated person in a person’s yard. While the complainant was on the phone, the unwanted person left.
Report of an intoxicated person in a store bothering customers.
Report of an erratic driver on the highway. Police made patrols but could not locate the vehicle.
Report of a person threatening another person. The victim wanted an apology.
Report of unwanted people in a residence. Police attended and the unwanted people left.
Dec. 31
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence trashing same. Police attended and drove the trasher to a sober person’s residence.
Report of a person expressing ideations of self harm. Police attended and the person willingly went to the hospital.
Report of people fighting in a back alley.
Report of an intoxicated person refusing to leave a business they have been barred from. The person left while the caller was on the phone with police.
Report of people attempting to get into a residence while the owner was not home.
Report of people at a residence who do not reside there. Police attended and the people agreed to leave.
Jan. 1
Report of a parent and child fighting and the child fleeing the residence. Police followed up and neither wanted anything done.
Report of a person taking another’s vehicle without consent. The person returned the vehicle - but not the keys.
Report of parent and child fighting and threatening one another.
Report of a person walking along with the highway in their boxers wearing mittens and a hat.
Report of intoxicated people passed out in an ATM vestibule.
Report of an intoxicated person spitting on someone. The person was arrested and lodged the complainant did not want charges laid.
Report of a vehicle doing donuts in a parking lot. Police attended and warned the youth driver.
Jan. 2
Report of a domestic assault. Police attended and arrested a person on scene. They were arrested, lodged and later released.
Report of children being noisy in a residence.
Report of a tenant not leaving a property despite being told to.
Report of a person threatening another person over the phone.
Report of a dog on the loose on the highway.
Report of people in a residence while the property rep was not there. Police attended and found no one was in the residence.
