A summary of calls to police from Dec. 22-Jan. 4, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP: Dec. 22 Report of two people sleeping on the deck of a residence. Police found the campers who were both taken to a residence to stay with a friend.

A summary of calls to police from Dec. 22-Jan. 4, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:

 

Dec. 22

Report of two people sleeping on the deck of a residence. Police found the campers who were both taken to a residence to stay with a friend.

Report of a single vehicle collision. Police, fire and ambulance attended. No injuries and collision was due to poor road conditions.

Report of a battle royale at a local bar. Police attended but all participants were gone.

Report of an assault by an unknown person.  No injuries were sustained.

Report of a family dispute where a parent stole their child’s phone.

Report of intoxicated people approaching a sober person intimidating the sober person.

Report of an assault. The victim did not cooperate with the investigation.

Report of a people hanging out in a back alley causing the caller to become nervous.

Report of a person calling 911 to ensure their phone worked.

 

Dec. 23

Report of a dispute between a couple where one of the disputants ran away expressing ideations of self harm. The subject of complaint was located and taken to hospital.

Report of a dispute between a couple in a residence where one of the participants was breaking items. The complainant did not want any charges laid.

Report of a possible theft from a local business.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a local financial institution. Police provided a wake-up call and transported the subject of complaint to cells.

Report of a person at the hospital medically cleared but too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the intoxicated person.

Report of harassment over a social media platform. The complainant was advised to block the harasser.

 

Dec. 24

Report of a family dispute where a dog kennel was smashed.

Report of dogs running loose.

Report of an argument between a couple where they would like police to attend. Police attended and transported one of the participants to a relative.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a local financial institution. Police attended and arrested and lodged the boozy banker.

Report of a passed-out intoxicated person behind a residence.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the road. Police attended and found the person as described who was given a suite at the Creighton detachment to continue their slumber

Report of a dispute between parent and child.

Report of an intoxicated person entering their house and the neighbour was concerned for the safety of that person. Police attended and found the person was intoxicated but they were in their own house. No cause for concern.

Report of a theft of toys from a local store. Police were not able to apprehended the Grinches.

 

Dec. 25

Report of a noise complaint.

 

Dec. 26

Report of a person attending the hospital but leaving before receiving treatment.

Report of an argument in a residence. Police attended and spoke to the occupants who admitted arguing however nothing criminal took place.

Report of a residential alarm however it was deemed to be false.

Report of a vacant building that call believes is being used for nefarious activities. Police attended but found no one on scene.

Report of an intoxicated person falling down. Police attended and located the subject of complaint who was arrested and lodged.

Report of passed out person in the hospital waiting area. Police attended and it was deemed the person was not in any medical distress therefore they were taken to cells to be lodged

Report of a dog being caught in a wildlife trap. Police were able to free the dog, who seemed grateful evidenced by their tail wagging. The dog was unable to say thank you, but the police officer feels that it was thankful.

Report of a fight in a neighbouring residence from the caller. Police attended and located the aggressor on scene who was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence throwing items around. Police attended relocated the subject of complaint. The subject of complaint later returned therefore so did police and the person was now arrested and lodged.

 

Dec. 27

Report of a group of people in a residence and the homeowner did not want them there any longer. Police attended and one of the persons was still inside. They were arrested and lodged.

Report of a dispute between parent and child which involved some pushing. Police attended however the parent did not want their child arrested as they were now sleeping.

Report of intoxicated people in a residence and the homeowner did not want them there. Police attended and arrested two intoxicated people who were lodged in cells.

While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person stumbling down the street. The person was arrested and lodged due to their level of intoxication.

Report of an intoxicated and/or possibly high person getting aggressive with other people in a residence. Police attended and located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of coyotes attacking dogs. Police attended, shooed one of the coyotes away and advised a homeowner in the area to bring their dogs inside.

While on patrol, police were waved down by a passerby who was standing over a passed out person. The passed out person was arrested due to their level of intoxication. It was also learned the passed out person had an outstanding warrant for their arrest.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence becoming aggressive with other people in the residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the unwanted person.

 

Dec. 28

Report of an intoxicated person at the hospital medically cleared but too intoxicated to release. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person as they had no place to go.

Report of a person attending a residence looking for their ex, saying if they find said ex they are going to “get it”.

Report of person sleeping in a vacant apartment. Police attended and told the person to scram.

Report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance at the hospital. Police attended and located the person still causing a disturbance. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of person passed out on couch of local hostel. Police attended and found the person as described however police were concerned for the person's well being therefore they were taken to hospital where they were admitted.

Report of a person passed out on the steps of local business. Police attended and located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of a person attending a residence, kicking in the door, and assaulting a person within

Report of a person feeling harassed as they were receiving text messages from an ex employer. The complainant was advised to block the number and call back should the texts continue.

Police requested to attend hospital for a patient who was becoming aggressive with staff. Police attended and were able to diffuse the situation.

Report of dispute between neighbours in regards to allegations of animal abuse.

While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person bleeding. The person was taken to hospital and would not disclose to police what caused their injury.

 

Dec. 29

Report of a person attempting to get into a local bar despite being banned from same. The person left prior to police arrival and was forced to likely dance alone.

911 call received to a residence. Police attended and learned kids were playing with the phone.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the hospital lobby. Police attended and arrested and lodged the subject of complaint.

Report of a dispute between a couple who were breaking up. Police attended and kept the peace.

Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm. Police attended and took the person to hospital.

Report of two intoxicated people walking past a residence and the homeowner was concerned for their safety. Police made patrols but could not locate the subject of complaint.

 

Dec. 30

Report of a person passed out in a room despite being evicted from same. Police attended and found the subject of complaint as described. The person still refused to leave therefore was arrested and lodged.

Report of a fight outside a local bar. Police attended but the fight was over and the combatants had departed.

False alarm call to a local financial institution.

Report of a missing youth. The youth later returned home.

Report of a break and enter to a garage.

 

Dec. 31

While on patrol, police located a person who started celebrating New Year’s far too early. The person was very intoxicated therefore was arrested and lodged.

Report of a possible assault at a residence. Police attended and spoke to the homeowner who had no idea why police were there.

Police and ambulance requested to attend to a call of a male with a cut to his head. The male was transported to hospital and did not want to speak about how he received his injury.

Report of siblings fighting in a residence. Police attended and learned the fight escalated to the point one of the siblings being stabbed. A person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and later released. The suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. The suspect was charged with aggravated assault and remanded in custody.

Report of a person repeatedly calling 911 asking about their friend who was taken to hospital earlier. The person was called and told not to misuse 911 any further.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence freaking out. Police attended and found the subject of complaint who had outstanding warrants for their arrest. The person was taken into custody and picked up a resist arrest charge along with the way. This person was remanded in custody.

Report of a domestic assault. Police located the suspect who was arrested and found to have outstanding warrants for their arrest. The person was charged with assault and remanded in custody.

 

Jan. 1

Report of a person breaking windows of a residence as they felt their music was too loud. Police attended and found no loud music and took the person into custody. This person does not win a prize for being the first call for Flin Flon RCMP of 2020,

Report of a person having allegedly been assaulted. Police found the supposed victim who denied calling the police and denied any assault.

Report of a person stating that a fight at their residence was imminent. Police attended and spoke to the homeowner who denied calling police. The homeowner did appear to try to fight the floor, however the floor won.

Report of a break and enter to a residence.

Report of a disturbance at a residence. Police attended and learned the person causing problems had left and the property rep did not further police action.

Report of an argument between a couple in a residence. Police attended and separated the couple for the evening.

Report of an intoxicated person at hospital medically cleared but too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and could not find a sober person to turn the person over too therefore they were lodged in cells.

 

Jan. 2

False alarm call to a local business.

Report of a break and enter to a garage.

Report of family members fighting over a bottle of alcohol.

Report of a person passed out in lobby of local hostel. Police attended and found the person as described. They were arrested and lodged.

Report of break and enter to a residence.

Report of an intoxicated person allegedly threatening another person with a knife.

Report of person passed out in local hostel stair well. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of two missing youths from the same residence. They later returned home.

 

Jan. 3

Report of a person intoxicated in a local hostel refusing to leave. Police attended and found the subject of complaint who was arrested and lodged.

Report of intoxicated people yelling and scaring people in the uptown area. Police attended and found one of the people who was noticeably intoxicated. This person was arrested and lodged.

While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person stumbling down the street. Due to the person's level of intoxication they were arrested and lodged.

Report of an unwanted person in a residence. Police attended but the person had already left.

Report of a person passed out in the ATM lobby of a local financial institution. Police attended and found the person and a large group of onlookers. The person was woken up, arrested and lodged.

Report of a person acting suspiciously near a residence. The caller believed it could be a person who was currently in custody.

Report of an intoxicated person having been kicked out of their residence and then now walking around with their children. Patrols were made but police could not locate the gaggle of people.

Report of an intoxicated person walking down a street. Police attended but found no such person.

Ambulance requests police assistance in transporting a person to the hospital who refuses to go. Police attended and negotiated with the person who agreed to go to hospital.

 

Jan. 4

Report of person kicking at the door of a residence. Police attended and located the suspect being held down by the homeowner and EMS. Police arrested the original subject of complaint who was lodged.

Report of a passed out person in the doorway of a seniors complex. Police attended and found the intoxicated person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of a passed out person near the hospital. Police attended and found an intoxicated person as described. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of a couple harassing people near a licenced establishment asking people for their alcohol. Police attended but the couple were no longer there.
