A summary of calls to police from June 14-20, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:

June 14

Report of an intoxicated couple arguing in public. Police attended and found both people still on scene and still arguing. Both were arrested for disturbing the peace and lodged.

911 call received, but the caller said they did not need police despite a disturbance being heard in the background. Police attended and found there was an intoxicated person in the residence refusing to calm down. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an unwanted person sitting in a backyard refusing to leave. The person left before police arrived.

June 15

Report of people listening to music too loudly. Police attended and spoke to the two person party who agreed to turn the music down.

Report of a person intoxicated and passed out on the street. Police attended and found the person as described. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person having trouble walking up a steep hill. Police attended and found the subject of complaint who was not intoxicated. They were given a courtesy ride by police.

Report of a person finding a family member in their residence upon waking up and the family member was an unwanted guest. Police were asked to tell the person they are no longer welcome, which police did.

Report of a person crawling across a yard. Police attended and found the crawler who was suffering from a medical condition. A family member agreed to care for the crawler.

Report of police wanted at a residence for an unknown situation. Police attended and found a person assaulting a hot water tank. The assaulter was taken into custody. The victim did not want to provide a statement.

Report of an assault on Main Street. Police attended and found the subject of complaint, who was breaching a no contact order with the alleged victim. No grounds to support a charge of assault, however the subject of complaint was arrested for breaching their court order, lodged and released to appear in court on a future date.

Report of an intoxicated person smashing something in front of a residence. Opa! Police attended and spoke to the occupants who stated everything was no fine.

Report of an impaired person causing problems inside a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the problem causer.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence yelling they were going to beat people up. Police attended and took the person into custody before any knuckle sammiches were served for dinner.

Police were asked to check on a person whom the caller was concerned may have been stabbed as they are “hanging out with a bad crowd”. Police checked on the possible victim, who was completely fine.

June 16

Report of a youth in a residence freaking out, unsure about what. Police attended and the youth expressed ideations of self-harm. The youth was transported to hospital to speak to medical professionals.

Report of a group of intoxicated people drinking behind a business. Police made patrols but could not locate the group.

Report of a vehicle having been stolen from a residence. The matter is under investigation.

Report of a two vehicle collision. Cause of the collision seems to be a mechanical failure.

Report of a person refusing to leave a residence. Police attended and found the person still on scene who was breaching conditions of a court order. The person was arrested, charged and remanded in custody.

Report of an unwanted person continually coming to a person’s residence. The person eventually stopped coming.

June 17

Report of a person pushing another person in a residence. The pushee did not want the pusher charged.

Report of an unwanted person at a residence kicking at the door. Police attended and the wannabe soccer player was gone.

Report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance at a local hotel. Police attended and found the person still on scene who was arrested and lodged.

Report of a domestic assault. Police attended and took the suspect into custody. The person was later released to appear in court at a later date.

Report of a cell phone being stolen from a customer who was getting their hair did (as the kids say). One person was taken into custody, however the cell phone is still unaccounted for.

Report of a person on their property filming another person who was near their property. Not a police matter.

Report of an intoxicated person yelling about wanting to assault people. Police attended and took the person into custody before any assaults were handed out.

June 18

911 call received and a person could be heard yelling at another to “get out”. Police attempted to contact the caller back who refused to provide their address but said everything is now ok.

Report of a liquor, smokes and a wallet being taken from a garage.

Report of a person throwing a cinder block at another person. The matter is under investigation.

June 19

Report of a person wanting to drink with someone else, however that person did not want to drink with them. The person who wanted to drink left.

Report of a 911 call to a residence. Police attended and learned someone had called because they were having ideations of self-harm. The caller was taken to the hospital.

Police requested to ensure COVID-19 compliance at a person’s residence. They were in compliance.

Report of a youth sitting in a truck by themselves. Police attended and all was fine.

Report of an argument in a residence between 2 people. Police attended and the parties agreed to separate for the day.

Report of neighbouring hotel occupants fighting about something. Police attended and both were evicted by hotel staff without any issue.

Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared but too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

While on patrol, police were flagged down by a person reporting someone else was really intoxicated. Police located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of a break and enter to a residence.

June 20

Report of a youth having been dropped off at a hospital intoxicated and is now medically cleared but has no place to go. Police attended and arrested and lodged the youth.

Report of a person smoking an unknown substance which was hurting the caller’s lungs. Police attended and could not substantiate the claims.

Report of a hit and run.

Report of what sounded like gunshots in a residential neighbourhood. Police attended and learned it was an adult trying to relive his youth by setting off firecrackers - although the person said the firecrackers made more of a “pfffffff” sound than a “pop” sound.
