A summary of calls to police from Sept. 4-10, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Oct. 4
Report of a vehicle vs. bear collision. No injuries to the occupants of the vehicle. No word on the bear.
Report of suspicious noises near a house which sounded like people talking.
Police requested to attend a residence with CFS in regards to a report of a party where intoxicated people were with children.
Report of a loud argument being heard from an unknown residence. Police made patrols, but could not hear the argument.
Oct. 5
Report of a possible break and enter to a residence. Police attended and did not find anyone in the residence.
Report of an intoxicated person sleeping on the street. Police attended and found the person as described who was relocated to Creighton cells.
While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of a motor vehicle collision. Police, fire and ambulance attended. Minor injuries to one occupant.
Report of an assault between family members. The victim did not want to provide a statement in the matter.
Oct. 6
Report of people being observed attempting to break into a garage.
Report of people observed trying to steal bikes.
While police were investigating the above break and enters and thefts, a person was seen out past their court ordered curfew. The person ran from police and a brief chase ensued. The person was caught, arrested and charged with breaching their conditions.
Report of a shed being broken into an items within being stolen. Matter under investigation.
Report of a vehicle being entered an items stolen from within. Matter under investigation.
Report of a person presenting themselves to the hospital with an apparent stab wound. Investigation revealed the stabbing happened in another community.
Report of a theft/fraud. Matter under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated person at the Flin Flon hospital having been medically cleared but is too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of a garage being broken into.
Oct. 7
Report of an alleged domestic assault. Matter under investigation.
Report of a theft/fraud. Matter under investigation.
Report of allegation of a breach of a no contact order where a person pulled into their own driveway. Police determined no breach occurred.
Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and tucked the person into bed in Creighton cells.
Oct. 8
Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm leaving a residence before being tackled by a concerned family member. The caller did not leave any contact information, therefore police were unable to follow up.
While on patrol, police located a person too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police arrested and lodged the person.
Report of an intoxicated person in a person’s truck refusing to get out.
Report of two intoxicated people in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and arrested and lodged both persons.
Oct. 9
Report of people trying to open a latch of a door with spoons. They then took their spoons and left.
Report of a traffic complaint between two parties.
Report of blackmail over internet photos. Matter under investigation.
Report of person expressing ideations of self-harm. The person was brought to hospital under the Mental Health Act.
Report of an assault. Matter under investigation.
Report of a two vehicle collision. Police attended and determined one of the drivers was impaired. The person was arrested and provided breath samples twice the legal limit. The person was later released to appear in court at a later date.
Report of a person following a couple accusing them of uttering threats. Police made patrols but were unable to locate anyone involved.
Report of a person operating heavy machinery at a very late time. The person agreed to shut ‘er down for the night.
Oct. 10
Report of an intoxicated person expressing ideations of self-harm. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person so a property assessment could be done when sober.
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of possible gun shots being heard. Police attended and unable to prove or disprove what the noises were.
Report of a possible impaired driver. Patrols were made and police were unable to locate vehicle.
Report of family members threatening one another. Reported for information purposes.
Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm. Police attended and a family member within the home said they would look after the person and call police should they need to attend.
Report of a person refusing to leave a residence. Police attended and learned the homeowner never actually asked the person to leave. The confused person agreed to leave at the request of police.
