A summary of police calls from Nov. 1-7, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:

Nov. 1

Report of a domestic assault. Matter under investigation.

Report of a landlord and tenant dispute. The tenant was referred to the appropriate channels to go through.

Report of intoxicated people in a restaurant requesting people buy them stuff. Police attended and arrested and lodged all three.

Report of a person locked out of their residence. Police attended and watched as they got in.

Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared but is too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

 

Nov. 2

Report of an unwanted person at a residence. Police made patrols and later found the person a long way away from the dispatch address.

Report of an intoxicated person banging on a door of a residence. Police located the person a short distance away and they were arrested and lodged.

Report of vehicles parking illegally. Police made patrols and the vehicles were gone.

Report of Facebook posts alleging poor parenting choices. CFS was already aware.

Report of a landlord and tenant dispute.

Report of kids throwing snow against the side of an apartment building.

While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person using a garbage can to try steady themselves. Police arrested and lodged the person.

Report of an unwanted house guest refusing to leave. Police attended and the person had nowhere else go to, therefore police provided free room and board for the evening.

Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in a snowbank. Police attended and located, arrested and lodged the person.

Report of an intoxicated person who had been medically cleared but is too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person

911 call received and a person could be heard crying in the background. Police attended and found it was an argument between partners.

Reports of shots fired. Police attended a residence, did a dynamic entry but then learned there are two streets with the same name and were at the wrong address. Police apologized, tucked their tails in between their legs and attended the real spot. Once there, it was learned it was actually a fire place.

Report of a patient having left the hospital before being seen by a doctor.

Nov. 3

Report of an unknown person passed out in front of a residence. Police attended and learned it was actually the homeowner’s own child. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated youth throwing items at a residence. Police attended and found the youth hiding in a neighbour’s residence. The youth was arrested and lodged.

Report of an unwanted person continually coming and going to a residence. Police later located the subject of complaint sleeping in an ATM vestibule. The person was intoxicated, therefore arrested and lodged.

 

Nov. 4

Ambulance dispatch requested police attend a housing complex and help ambulance attendants gain access. Police attended and the ambulance attendants advised police were never asked to come.

Report of an intoxicated person “blacking out” in a residence. Police attended and found the person still on scene. They were arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person refusing to leave a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out on some steps. The person would not respond, therefore they were transported to hospital via ambulance. They were later medically cleared, arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and agreed with the caller’s assumption. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance in the hospital lobby. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

 

Nov. 5

Report of a vehicle colliding with a residence. Police and fire attended and while on scene the driver turned themselves in. The driver was noticed to be impaired and was arrested. Breath samples were obtained and the person provide samples over the legal limit. The person was processed and released to appear in court at a later date for charges related to impaired operation of a conveyance.

Report of a group of people walking around intoxicated and yelling. Police made patrols but could not locate the roving party.

Report of a break and enter where items were mostly smashed and one thing was missing. Matter under investigation.

Report of an intoxicated person throwing things in a residence.

 

Nov. 6

Report of theft from the liquor store. Matter under investigation.

Report of hitchhikers on the highway.

While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated in an ATM vestibule. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person stumbling around outside of a building.

Police were requested to do a well-being check on a family. They were checked on and no concerns were noted.

Report of an intoxicated person refusing to leave a residence. The caller then stated the person left and they would call back should the return.

 

Nov. 7

Report of an intoxicated person banging on the door of a residence.

Report of intoxicated people passed out in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and arrested both people who were lodged.

Report of a disturbance being heard from inside of a residence. Police attended but the homeowner would not cooperate with police.

Multiple reports of theft from the liquor store. Matter under investigation.

While on patrol, police came into contact with a person too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in front of a local business. The caller then stated the sleeping male was being assaulted. Police attended and arrested both people involved.

Report of a group of intoxicated teens in a residence. Police attended but they were all gone.

Report of a domestic assault in a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged one person. The person was released the following morning to attend court at a later date.

Report of an unwanted intoxicated person in a residence.

Report of an intoxicated teenager causing problems in a residence. Police attended and the teen was now asleep and the parent advised all was now OK.

Report of an intoxicated person annoying a homeowner. Police attended and the homeowner said the person could now stay.
