A summary of police calls from Nov. 9-16, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:

Nov. 9

Report of a vehicle having driven through someone’s yard. Patrols were made and the wannabe snowmobile was not located.

Report of an intoxicated person having left a residence and not being dressed appropriately for the weather. The cold person returned home a short time later.

Report of suspects smashing the back window of a vehicle.

Report of intoxicated person loitering within a fitness emporium. Police attended and arrested the person who did not look like they even lifted, bro.

Report of person loitering in front of business asking patrons for money. The person was found not to be intoxicated, therefore they were moved along.

Report of an erratic driver.

Report of an intoxicated person acting violent in a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the aggressor.

Nov. 10

Report of an intoxicated person getting aggressive with people in a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the subject of complaint.

False alarm to a local business.

Report of an ongoing argument lasting throughout the day. Police attended and drove one of the debaters to a relative’s house.

Nov. 11

Report of an unwanted person in a residence. Police attended and removed the unwanted person.

Report of an abandoned vehicle. It was located and towed.

Report of an argument between a couple. The couple separated prior to police arrival.

Nov. 12

False alarm to a local worship centre.

Police requested to assist in wellbeing check on a child.

Report of intoxicated person banging on the door of a residence. Police attended and drove the door banger to a sober person’s residence.

Report of a sibling dispute. Police attended and the siblings were no longer disputing.
 

Nov. 13

Flin Flon RCMP assisted in apprehending two individuals who had stolen from the Creighton liquor store.
Multiple calls in regards to a person driving erratically before they broke into a residence. Police attended and arrested an individual who was charged with break and enter, mischief, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, impaired operation of a conveyance and failing to comply with a breath demand. The person was remanded in custody.

Report of passed out person on a sidewalk. Police attended and found an intoxicated, snow-covered youth. The youth was taken to hospital and later brought back home to their parent.
 

Nov. 14

Report of a domestic dispute. Police attended and arrested an individual who will be charged with one count of assault with a weapon. The person was released to appear in court at a later date.

Report of unknown suspects walking by a garage checking to see if it was locked.
911 hang up call of persons stating people in the residence were not letting this person attend a hockey game. I believe that counts as treason ‘round these parts.

Police requested to assist in keeping the peace between a couple. Police attended and one of the persons involved requested to be taken to hospital.
 

Nov. 15

Report of an attempted theft of snowmobile.

Report of a break-in to a local business. Matter is under investigation.

Report of damage to a vacant residence.

Report of a dispute between family members due to an inappropriate picture being sent from one party to another.

While on patrol, police located a suspect walking away from liquor store holding four bottles that were obviously stolen. The suspect was arrested, charged with numerous offences including theft, wearing a disguise while committing an offence and breaching their court ordered conditions. The person was remanded in custody.

 

Nov. 16

Report of passed out person on the street. Police and ambulance attended and took the subject of complaint to hospital.

Report of another person passed out on the street. Police and ambulance attended but the person woke up and walked away.

Report of two people engaged in combat. Police attended and arrested one of the warriors who was lodged.

Report of a family member stealing money from another family member. The victim did not want charges laid in the matter.

Report of an open line 911 call. Police attended the residence and spoke to the occupants. Police were not needed but one of the homeowners attempted to show police magic tricks - albeit not very good ones.

Report of theft of chips. The horror!
