A summary of calls to police from Feb. 2-8, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Feb. 2
Report of two intoxicated people hanging around the hospital. Police attended and located both people who were given a ride to a sober relative.
Third party complaint of an assault. Police attended and spoke to the alleged victim and assailant. Investigation revealed that no assault took place.
Feb. 3
Report of persons plotting to damage items in a residence.
Report of a break-in to a garage that could have occurred any time over the past three weeks.
Report of an unknown person getting into the passenger seat of a vehicle and demanding a ride to a residence. The driver dropped the person off, then reported the same to police.
Report of a person saying they needed police, then telling police to disregard. Police attended and learned that the person causing problems left once they knew police were being called.
Report of unknown persons dumping their garbage where they shouldn’t be.
Feb. 4
Report of a dispute where people were threatening to damage the complainant’s property. The complainant wanted them to be warned and the police did just that.
Police requested to complete a wellbeing check on a person. Police learned they were well.
Report of an intoxicated person in the basement of a building. Police attended and found no such person.
Report of intoxicated people in the library. Police attended but the bookworms were gone.
Report of a person breaking a window at a residence. The complainant only wanted a file number so they could make a claim with their insurance.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the lobby of a local hostel. Police attended, found the person as described and arrested and lodged them.
Report of a person in the ATM vestibule at a local financial institution banging their head off the windows and handrails. Police attended and found the intoxicated person, who was arrested and lodged.

Feb. 5
Report of intoxicated person at the Flin Flon hospital having been medically cleared but too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the subject of complaint.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the stairs in a local hostel. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a person passing a stopped school bus despite the bus having its stop sign out and lights flashing. Matter is under investigation.
While on patrol, police came into contact with an intoxicated youth who was trying to push people, but falling down in the process. Police arrested and lodged the pusher.
Report of a group of intoxicated youths outside a residence. Police attended but the youths were gone.
Report of a large coyote in a residential neighbourhood. Police attended but the coyote was gone.
Feb. 6
Report of a fight between two people in a residence. Police attended and found one of the combatants still in the residence. The person was arrested and taken to hospital for cuts sustained during the brawl. The person would not cooperate with the investigation. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of intoxicated parent in a residence refusing to leave. Police attended but the parent had since left.
Report of an intoxicated person at the Flin Flon hospital having been medically cleared but too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and provided a ride to a sober adults residence.
Report of an adult buying alcohol for underage people. A person was charged with supplying liquor to minors, which carries a fine of $2,542.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out on Main Street. Police attended and located the person as described. They were arrested and lodged.
Report of a suspicious person wearing all black on the street. Let that be a lesson to you goth kids!
Report of a person intoxicated in a residence arguing with their roommate. The intoxicated person then left. Patrols were made but they were not located.
Report of intoxicated people at the entrance of the Flin Flon hospital. Police attended and arrested and lodged the two problem causers.
Feb. 7
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the hallway of a local business. Police attended and found the person as described. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and located the now awake person who wasn’t happy to see police. They were arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared but too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person
Feb. 8
Report of a disturbance with a potentially combative person. Police presence calmed the situation.
Report of a 911 hang-up call. Police attended the residence and determined that a small child likely dialled 911 accidentally.
Report of another 911 hang-up call. Police attended the residence and answered a question the caller had.
Report of somebody leaving their safe place in no condition to care for themselves. Upon police response, the person had returned to their safe place.
Report of an intoxicated person stumbling in a back lane. Police attended and arrested and lodged the male as he would have been a danger to himself if left to his own devices.
Report of intoxicated persons bothering patrons in a bank. Two people were sober and left on their own and one male was intoxicated. The intoxicated one was arrested and slept it off.
