A summary of calls to police from Nov. 15-21, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP: Nov. 15 Report of a 911 hang-up call to a residence. Police attended and found a couple were arguing and throwing things around. The couple was separated for the evening.

Nov. 15

Report of a 911 hang-up call to a residence. Police attended and found a couple were arguing and throwing things around. The couple was separated for the evening.

Report of an assault at a residence. Follow-up revealed the victim did not want charges laid in the matter.

 

Nov. 16

Report of an intoxicated patient having been medically cleared at the hospital but it was too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person was found on Main Street very intoxicated. They were arrested and lodged.

Report of people loudly arguing at one another on the street. Police attended and found it was siblings arguing over money for alcohol.

Report from a parent of their teenage child not listening to rules and throwing items in the residence.

Police requested to assist CFS with a wellbeing check as the homeowner would not let workers in due to the pandemic.

Report of an intoxicated person in the ER waiting room, not needing medical attention, just needing a warm place to stay. Police attended and lodged the person.

Report of a person holding a video game console as hostage due to a disagreement. Negotiation tactics were used to release the hostage.

Report of a suspicious vehicle parked in someone’s driveway.

Report of an intoxicated person kicking another person’s vehicle and threatening the vehicle owner.

Report of an intoxicated and unwanted teen in a residence.

Report from a concerned sibling that their other sibling was having a drinking party.

Report of parked vehicle blocking a back alley.

Report of a person presenting at the Flin Flon hospital who had been stabbed. Investigation revealed the stabbing occurred in another community.

 

Nov. 18

Report from a person concerned that their sibling may be currently doing drugs.

Report of an alleged stolen vehicle which then wound up crashed into a residence. Matter under investigation.

Police requested to check on the wellbeing of a person. Police attended and all was well.

Report of a seemingly abandoned vehicle parked in a driveway. Police attended and confirmed the vehicle was not stolen.

Report of a person breaking a window at a residence. The person later returned and was arrested and lodged.

Report of an unwanted person continually coming and going from a residence. Police attended and found the person a short distance away. The person was arrested and lodged.

 

Nov. 19

Report of a 911 hang-up call from a residence. Police attended and learned it was a verbal dispute between a couple.

Report of a noise complaint from a person being too loud in their residence. Police attended and asked the homeowner to keep it down and they agreed.

Report of an intoxicated person stumbling around and asking for help. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

 

Nov. 20

Report of an intoxicated person in an ATM vestibule swearing at customers and snorting tobacco. Police made patrols but were unable to locate the person

Report of three people in a bank not for banking reasons and bothering people. Police attended but all were gone.

Report of a two-vehicle collision. No injuries, nothing criminal in nature.

Report of someone stealing vehicle keys from another person.

Report of an intoxicated and passed-out person near a residence. Police attended but they were already gone.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the hospital walkway. Police attended but the person was gone.

Report of an intoxicated spouse throwing things in a residence and smashing them. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Report of three people fighting in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and found one intoxicated person still on scene. They were arrested and lodged.

While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person in an ATM vestibule trying to light a cigarette. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of a person being loud keeping another tenant awake. Police attended and asked the person to keep the noise down.

 

Nov. 21

Report of a disturbance in a residence. Police attended and found a person in the residence who was on no-contact conditions with another person there. They were arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.

While on patrol, police came into contact with an intoxicated person laying in the snow. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated in an ATM vestibule.

While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person doing their best at crossing the street. Police arrested and lodged the person who treated police, to a freestyle rap tune.

While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person sitting in an empty parkade. The person was too intoxicated to care for themselves, therefore were arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared but is too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person was arrested and lodged.
