OHL roundup: Colts' special teams key in 6-3 road win over Otters

ERIE, Pa. — Zach Wigle scored twice, including once while short-handed, Ben West made 38 saves, and the visiting Barrie Colts defeated the Erie Otters 6-3 in Ontario Hockey League action on Monday night.

Blair Scott, Bode Stewart, Tai York and Beau Jelsma also scored for the Colts (20-24-3-0), who led 2-0 after the first period and 4-1 heading into the third. The Colts scored once on the power play and once while killing a penalty. Wigle also added an assist.

Bruce McDonald scored twice and added an assist for the Otters (23-21-4-0) at Erie Insurance Arena. Malcolm Spence also scored for the hosts.

The Colts went 1-for-3 on the power play, while the Otters were 0-for-3.
