Dabrowski bounced from doubles in Guadalajara Open

GUADALAJARA, Mexico — Gabriela Dabrowski of Ottawa and playing partner Giuliana Olmos of Mexico lost a quarterfinal heartbreaker in the Guadalajara Open women's doubles on Friday night.

Dabrowski and Olmos, seeded fourth in the WTA 1000 event, lost 5-7, 7-5, 8-10 to the eighth-seeded Chinese combo of Yang Zhaoxuan and Xu Yifan.

Dabrowski and Olmos had three aces, seven double faults and basically matched their opponents' stats in the match that took one hour, 49 minutes to play.
