The Yorkton Terriers shocked the Melville Millionaires on Wednesday night, eliminating them by winning game six by a score of 5-2. Yorkton's power play was the key, as they scored four goals on six tries, while their penalty killing was perfect, stopping Melville on all six of their chances. Even Debert had the only goal of the first period, giving Yorkton a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes. The teams exchanged goals in the second period, as Jordan Hack scored for Melville and Trent Cassan replied for Yorkton. It was all Terriers in the third, as they jumped ahead 4-1 on goals by Josh Cudmore and Chris Korchinski. Bear Trapp scored for Melville, but Korchinski's second of the game iced the win for the Terriers, who advance to play the Weyburn Red Wings in the Sherwood Conference final.3/19/2004
