With Monday's launch of the Xtreme Hockey School out of the way, director Mike Reagan says he's pleased with the way things are going. "We've got really high numbers and a great school this year," he says. More than a 150 students hit the Whitney Forum ice throughout the camp. Ranging from juniors to intermediates, those are the highest numbers the camp has ever had. Reagan attributes word of mouth and the success of the camp in previous years to this year's turnout. "Every year the camp continues to grow, and it's a good thing," he says. "Our first goal at the camp is to make sure people enjoy themselves." And he adds, "we want to be able to offer a first class school." The regular hockey school runs until tomorrow and the specialty clinics run from August 26 to 28.
