Wrestlers hit the mat for regional tourney

About 120 young wrestlers took to the mat of Hapnot Collegiate for the Flin Flon Open last Saturday, Jan. 26. Wrestlers from Hapnot, Creighton, McIsaac and Ruth Betts schools competed along with visitors from The Pas, Cranberry Portage, Pelican Narrows, Sandy Bay and Cross Lake. The Hapnot Kings and Kweens hosted the tournament, with matches starting Saturday morning and went until the late afternoon. Here are the results: Elementary Girls, No. 1 1.
