Only 26 days to go until the start of the 2004 World Cup of Hockey. Teams have been divided into two pools. Canada, Russia, Slovakia and the United States will make up the North American Pool, while Sweden, Finland, Germany and the Czech Republic will comprise the European Pool. North American venues include Toronto, Montreal, and St. Paul, Minnesota. CBC will have coverage of every single game of the tournament, starting on August 30 when the Czech Republic takes on Finland in Helsinki. Canada's first game will be on August 31 against the U.S. in Montreal. The Championship Game will be played in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on September 14.
