Next Sunday, Flin Flon will be celebrating World Bubble Day with the largest assemblage of bubble-related events ever seen in northern Manitoba. An afternoon full of both competitive and non-competitive individual and team events is planned, including bubble skeet shooting, bubble golf, bubble bull's-eye, bubble distance trials, bubble bingo, and the exciting monster bubble competition. Participants will also have a chance to blow (and pop) some of the biggest bubbles ever seen in northern Manitoba. There will be bubble dancing, square bubbles, bubble art, the gallery of amazing bubble feats, and even a chance to get a picture of their kid inside a bubble. All bubble masters will get a chance to strut their stuff at the bubble walk of fame. All this will take place, weather permitting, on the Flin Flon Station Museum grounds on August 19 as part of the annual Flinty's Birthday celebrations.
