Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Flin Flon Bombers have had a rough November, but there have been some bright spots on the roster. Head coach and GM Mike Reagan says there have been a few players that stand out in his eyes. "Eric Millisor is really playing well on the offensive side of things," said the coach. "We're still concerned with some of his defensive mistakes." Along with Millisor, Matt Maleschuk has earned praise. "Maleschuk is going to compete every night for us. "I really like (his) work ethic," said Reagan, noting newcomer Travis Mah has made the same impression. "Mah, I thought is a pretty nice addition for us," said the coach. "He's a big body, he skates well and he's a good depth guy for us." Reagan says while Mah doesn't stand out as a powerplay force for the Bombers, he is happy with him. Another playing making the cut is Cameron Blair, but following last the Nov. 12 game, Reagan said Blair didn't play as well as he could. "But he's been really good as of late," Reagan said after that game. Overall, Reagan said the team is "not getting the consistent effort from everybody that we need." Saying that, Reagan says it's not something the team can dwell on. "We gotta move forward," he said. "...like I told the guys, the most important game now is the next game." The coach made it clear the team couldn't worry about past games. "They are done with. We're not going to get those points back by being p-ssed off about it." Though the Bombers are frustrated, the team continues to look forward to the next game. Heading into last Tuesday's game against the Ice Wolves at the Whitney Forum, the Bombers tried to put forth a more consistent effort. But Flin Flon wasn't able to get the ball rolling and ended the night with a 10-2 loss. The Bombers traveled to La Ronge last Friday before hitting Humboldt and then Battlefords. The Reminder will have more on those games.
