Mark your calendars! Bust the Winter Blues Festival will be here before you know it. Plans are currently underway for an exciting and fun-filled winter festival to take place on the weekend of February 27,28 and March 1. Local committee members are currently busy organizing a variety of winter activities suitable for all ages Ð from children to seniors. The festival will kickoff the evening of Friday, February 27 with Opening Ceremonies and will conclude Sunday, March 1 with the Family Curling Bonspiel. Many favourites will be back such as the Much Music Teen Dance, Senior's Card Tournament, Trivia Night, Baking Events, Family Curling and a Family Fishing Derby. The Bust the Winter Blues Festival is gearing up to be a weekend of winter fun that you won't want to miss. So, mark your calendars and don't get too comfortable on the couch this winter.
