The Weyburn Red Wings are headed to the SJHL MemberCARE Cup Finals thanks to some overtime magic from Frankie Dicks, who scored the series winner at 16:28 of the extra frame in front of 1,975 screaming fans. Jereme Tendler had the other goal for Weyburn in the 2-1 win, scoring at 1:08 of the third period on a power play. Justin Keller had the goal for Yorkton, who was out shot 42-34. In the other game on Monday night, the Humboldt Broncos managed to stay alive with a 4-1 win over the Kindersley Klippers. Drew Rose opened the scoring for the Broncos with his first goal of the playoffs at 3:14 of the opening period. Troy Schwab replied for Kindersley with one second remaining in the opening frame, scoring on a power play. Brendan Vanthuyne popped his fifth goal of the playoffs at 8:29 of the second period, which proved to be the eventual game winner. Alex Lussier and Kevin Duchaine scored in the third period to add some insurance for the Broncos, who were out shot 35-29 in front of 1,561 fans at home.
