The Willowpark Curling Club selected its new executive and got right down to business at a meeting Monday. The executive is: President - Bev Dutcawich Past-President - Jamie Switzer Vice President - Don Holmes Secretary-Treasurer - Garth Thompson Executive members - Cheryl Hordal, Sandra Davie, Karen Roy, Doug Dutcawich Returning as the ice men are Rick Switzer and Dennis Anderson, whose work last year garnered plenty of compliments. Registration will take place at Willowpark on Monday, September 19, at 7 p.m. All draws will be early draws. Karen Roy is once again the club manager, and Fern Laidlaw is in charge of the concession. The Hot Stove League will once again be under the care of John Munson, with registration and curling to begin Wednesday, October 11. Hot Stove will remain on Mondays and Wednesdays. The first bonspiel of the year will be the Grey Cup Bonspiel, date to be announced.
